5. The Crusaders musical history was already well past its two decades mark by the time this album was releases. With the departure of Stix Hooper in the early 's, the group lost their 70's style jazz-funk production that had served them so well after that/5(9).

6. Even the one funkish tune, Sweet Dreams, is nowhere near what the Crusaders were able to do on earlier records, despite a Larry Carlton solo (far from his best). Everything is over-produced, polished to a fault, and lacking any soul or grit that I can discern. Easily the weakest Crusaders album I've ever heard, of /5(9).
